This is the perfect example why I love this game, this scale and the members here! Great work.

Sweet stuff. Puts my models to shame. :(
In the 20 years since I started playing Epic I don't think I painted more than half a dozen stands and one or two titans. :-[
But that is about to change! My plans for Christmas are to get 4000pts of Marines painted for NetEpic. Soon I will be able to join these illustrious folks ;D

... and this is why, whenever my 40K buddies froth about their latest 5000 point 'Apocalypse' game, I always shrug and go "meh, skirmish battles are fun too.... I guess".

No matter what games I wander off to explore from year to year, I always eventually return to Epic. Can't beat small scale for big warfare.

Great looking hordes guys. Now those are gaming tables that would make anyone grin like a fool. Just too cool. 8)

Epic is my passion, I have always loved the big scale of warfare. To answer a few questions on this horde:

I love you Cal
you really keep the spirit of EPIC alive
Did you paint everything on your own?
Tell us about the points
You should rreally play NETEPIC with forces that sized

I did not paint this army, I don't have the time to paint anymore. I did the collecting and construction for this one and designed and build the objectives. The painting was done by those marvellous guys at Golem Painting Studio. Points wise, it's around the 20 - 25k mark. It is not my largest horde, that would be the Iron Warriors floating around on a Show Us Your Hordes from 2009 - 2011 era.

Great looking stuff by the follow on posts, I love that ork citadel it is awesome. Looking forward to seeing more guys, don't be shy, show us the 2012 work you have done regardless of size.

Cheers
Aaron

All the previous posts make my horde look pretty lame, but I'm posting it anyway!

Here is my titan legion, the Legio Pantera. I've been working on these models for nearly 20 years, since the 2nd edition was published. Some are nearly 20 years old, some have only just been finished, hence the varying quality, colour scheme and basing. I still have two more reavers and two more Warlords to join them:

Love your Titans Jodrell, plan on doing a similar scheme in white/red for my titans at some point over the next year.

Much like Markconz, I have spent most of this year picking up stuff as our play group gets back into NetEpic. So hopefully will be getting on with painting during those cold winter nights that are upon us (well some of us).

No, not Steve's work this time. I have left Steve alone to get on with his own work. As for the Iron Warriors, that was all inspired by Storm of Iron. I do have some work for Steve as there are some reinforcements for the IW sitting in a tub ready to go. I would love face off the IW against your forces. Maybe Syeve and I can get together and show off a mega force of IW.

Cheers
Aaron
