Really it's just years of painting 6mm figures experience.

And seriously good eyesight combined with a steady hand.

I should probably stop trying to paint after 20 cigarettes and 3 pots of coffee... actually I don't drink coffee. ;)

That might be your problem. My hands get unsteady if I get too much blood in my caffiene-stream too.

Looks awesome. How long did it take you to lay out all those strips? You did avery clean job given you must have used superglue...

Yes it took about a weeks effort, a bit longer than i had hoped. Especially as i considered doing more than one.

I used EMAs plastic weld glue for this job as it is designed to melt different plastics together very quickly. I would never have been able to do my Spike project without it. You just have to hold the two pieces together and then brush on the glue along the joins and capillary action does the job for you. The excess evaporates fast.

Cheers guys

Yeh it's stopped raining for five minutes here in the soggy UK and it's very mild this morning for the time of year so i managed to get outside and spray the tower ready for painting.

Gone for british armour green on this one, just for a change from grey. :)
