A minor addition to this last week:

I now regret sticking so many bits on the roof...but not enough to actaully go back and remove them/repaint :P

Pre paint, bits included the lids form a set of mini highlighters, a phone line splitter and blister packaging:

Loving it!

Now, the OCD part of me wants to see how you store these! Especially the wonderful tree stands! The trees look like Z-scale ones I have also purchased off Ebay, but didnt want to attach directly to the wood bases as I have no idea how to store them and keep them safe :)

Why, i keep them slung on the under-table-tree-wires! (not a great picture but then it is under a table, which has a lot of other stuff under it :P )

And yes, they are those Z-gauage ebay trees ;)

Ive also created some temporary roads for use with the industrial complex, made by cutting black sandpaper into strips and curves.

Landing pads made as a test of the platformer urban terrain sprues. *edit*shown here with a VTOL sprue-bolt, perfectly suited to such a platfrom? ;D

Now what to build with the rest of the platformer/hexagon/biotoxin sprues...? :-\

All very nice terrain pieces. Very creative to be able to look at several pieces of household items and envision a realistic looking piece of terrain.

Don't think they are at all? I had a quick look at the 40k wiki entry for them and it talks about them using their rocket engines to launch quickly up from a 'launch rail'.

I know that in at least one Black Library book they use thrust vectoring to hover. I think it was the one about the IG Pilots, Double Eagle?
