I had been keeping my eye on a Capitol Imperialis but it went for £40, a bit outside my price range. I know some people like to put it on sale for stupid money (ie £75-£85), but is £40 a fairly typical result?

Depends on condition. Does it have the plastic tracks, is it assembled and/or painted? For a complete and painted version thats about right.

If its the one I was watching bissler ( the grey one ) then £40 is OK. Plus postage, yeah, about normal. I would go as far as to say cheap. A few years ago I got a couple for around that price.I concur with CyberShadow.

It depends on what your budget is. I don't remember what they use to retail for. Probabley around £7.99 ? Best to forget about that though !

Of course the thing is your bid would of bumped the final price, and if it went to a bid war then you can expect to pay more. In the region of around £50 +.

I would be chuffed to bits to pay £25 and stretch to £30ish for one. But i'm not that lucky.

So yeah, £40 is a goods day work i'd say.

Oooft! I don't know if I could justify paying out any more than £30 for one piece, no matter how rare it is. [Insert your own joke about Scottish people being tightfisted here]

It did look in nice nick Cybershadow.

Yep, we were watching the same one Dogtrooper. Looks like I wont be getting one any time soon then!! It would have finished off my Imperial Guard army nicely! I've got a few more pieces to paint and then my army is done! Once it is, I'll post an update for you!

Cheers!

Probably because the original plastic tank kit that GW licensed the treads from is still easily available from a number of webstores.

Do you have any links, Ben?

While far too high for me to even consider, bear in mind that the current GW stuff is £££, those landraiders would be £20 new +£24 for the other metal tanks – and that is at UK prices, at Australian pricing that lot might actually come in under RRP :D

*edit: yep the metal tanks alone would be £78 new from GW if purchasing new in Australia. And on sale here for the low-low price of £60, including plastic extras! :P

Hmm, fair enough. I can't say I'd be enticed though. The one thing I have in bucketloads is Land Raiders, Rhinos and Marines. If I were to pick up more I'd be looking to pay a fraction of that price (though I accept that these are metal rather than the plastic ones).

Hi guys.

That hellbore can be fixed up I would of thought. If it stays cheap it would be worth it i.e. half a hellbore for half a usual price they go for. :)

And as we move into another Sunday of ebay bargin bonkers. I wish you all the best of luck :-\

Just got 50 2.5" trees for $12, including shipping from China... If they're not making a loss on me I'd be surprised. By the way the was two lots of 25 with shipping of $4.99 each. :D

These just arrived. They're far nicer than I expected. Especially for $0.24 a tree including shipping ($0.04 each without shipping). Sorry for the crappy photo - I'm in between cameras right now, though I expect this to resolve itself at the end of the month.

Yeah, that too. It still needs rigging and some more detailing.
