Some more updates:
E40K Landspeeders. I tried out the checker pattern on the shoulder pad this time. I think it worked out pretty well.

...and just in case I need a character in a landspeeder, one with a bleeding heart:

A damocles rhino (thanks to Dave for this model):

It'll most likely be an objective.

Finally, the rest of my vindicators: Vincent, Vince, and Vincenzo.

Image

Vincenzo is Italian, and he's proud of that fact:
"I breaka you face!"
Image
I think the bulk of the Lamenters' recruiting might now have to be on a predominantly Italian colony world :P

"We're gettin' the band back together!" A group shot with Vinnie:

One of these things is not like the other... I was pretty sure I followed the paint scheme I used before, but I guess 3 years between completing the first and second rounds leaves its mark. Vinnie is so different that I wonder if I forgot the final yellow drybrush altogether. Oh well.

That's a spicy meat-a-ball!

Also, Luigi Risotto is the name of the Simpson's character that we were talking about last night.

If you've got a banner on that stand I think the Lamentor in a chef hat should go there.

You could also name another Marine Character "Roman Moroni" after the Mob Boss from the movie "Johnny Dangerously". "You lousy corksuckers...I put your bells in a sling...you fargin iceholes...this is fargin war..."

Great force. Vinnie's yellow might not be on a par with the others, but i like the worn paint work on the tips of the dozer spikes.

I love this army, it's also opened my eyes to the possibilty of using my burgeoning imperial fists army as lamenters and having them count-as blood angels without feeling disgusted at having yellow blood angels....
