Thinking of using some Terrier Class Small Tanks from Dystopian Wars as Cyclops proxies as part of ToEG. Anyone have a good comparison pic or hands on with them?

I'm pretty sure they're on 20mm square bases, which would make them a couple mm wider than and about the same length and height as existing proxies. Remember they're cast integrally to the bases; I don't know how hard to remove they'd be, though if you're thinking of doing Elysians it won't matter.

For an actual unit I figure that's probably groovy.

Figured I'd be adventurous and see what me and my saw can do 8)

Because IIRC the Cyclops is it's own unit in Elysians anyway, so it'd be a simple matter of filling in the detail on the edges of the bases if you didn't mind the base size and shape.

Ahhh yes. At first I thought you were telling me something about the unit itself that I wasn't aware of (like don't bother the list is dropping them soon :)). I plan on cutting one out and stick a radar dish on it and use it as some stand bling. The others will get used as units proper as is I believe.

Not a proxy per say but I went out on a limb and snagged the Spartan Games Military Installations package from Firestorm Armada and I have to say I'm impressed. It is a HUGE collection of bitz that you can use (far more than their pic lets on). 2 thumbs up. Here's a comparison pic on some of the components (there's about 3 times what I show in package)

I've got a few X-MARX items and while I've seen plenty of resin that is better, they're of a decent quality enough and come at a fantastic price point (he's actually got an ebay storefront I've snagged them direct way back in the day- I assume it is still cheap) that I like them. If you just need some inexpensive quick sci-fi scenery they're not a bad purchase.

Terrier tanks comparison shot:
Current epic base (with in progress EW Assault Centuria) and an old style square base for comparison.

I see nice things to loot for my orks.

Another good thing is the new fortresses from dystopian wars.

I will also use their tanks for ork big wagons.

GZG has some nice AFVs, but they some times appear a bit small to me next to other 6mm. However, I do like their Infantry.
