A pop-up attack is considered movement, so I would say yes. Remember this also means you may not Sustain Fire and pop-up.

I would have thought not because you can only pop-up when on First Fire and no movement is allowed on FF. If you want to move at all you would be looking at an advance order (which in itself would rule out the pop-up in the first place).

So i'm correct in thinking that the 'popping up' unit has a field of fire 180 degrees to the front (thinking about the Falcon grav tank) otherwise it would have to turn and thus 'move' and as such could not perform the pop up attack. Obviously if it has a turret (like the Tempest) then it would have a 360 degree field of fire.

Yep, that's spot on.
