Turn 2 Left Flank End Phase
Dawn breaks to reveal that the Eldar Guardians are now completely decimated. Rough riders and bikes continue to engage Jet Bikes and Swooping Hawks but the Eldar Grav Tanks carrying the close-combat specialists are now readying themselves to breach the IG's outer defences.

Turn 2 Centre Flank End Phase
Another Shadowsword has been destroyed, but an exposed Tempest which has popped up, crashes and burns as it is blown out of the sky! The Warlock pays the price for being the nearest unit to the Imperial Guard defences. Despite taking cover in a building, he is killed by Sentinel fire.

Turn 2 Right Flank End Phase
The Titans push on towards the strongpoint. The Phantom is the focus of fire for the defending forces, but despite drawing a massive amount of fire, the only damage is the loss of one of its pulsars. Meanwhile, the Wave Serpents are jumped by Commissars on the back hill and easily eliminated. Ogryn attack a unit of Dire Avengers who are caught off-guard on advance movement. The skirmish is brutal, bloody, and over in seconds; the Ogryn crush them without breaking sweat! The Doomweavers remember to fire this turn and a unit of heavy trooper suffer a grisly demise as the razor-sharp steel webbing falls upon them, shredding them to pieces.

More skirmishes between Jet Bikes and Rough Riders. IG Bikes and Eldar Swooping Hawks also join the fray! Thankfully Princess Anne wasn't invited. This is not the time or the place for a little dressage.

Turn 2 casualites
The Eldar Avatar is a casualty of the new Net Epic Gold rules which (fairly) state no fixed saves are allowed in close combat. He perishes after being surrounded by four units of Beastmen. He died taking three of them with him...

...and seen here! The Phantom Titan acts as a sponge for Imperial Guard firepower. By this point it has lost a Pulsar weapon and -crucially - a Shadowsword's volcano cannon vapourised the wing. This had the effect of disabling the Titan's holofields, meaning that it is a sitting duck for the next turn!

Turn 3 Left Flank End Phase
Rough Riders take out two Grav Tanks in close assault. Two units of Harlequins are fortunate to bail out in time, but the last is not so fortunate... In the centre of the board, the Rough Riders finally see off all of the Jet-Bikes.
