WTF?!

By providing PayPal a telephone number (including a mobile telephone number), you agree to receive autodialed and prerecorded message calls at that number. The ways in which you provide us a telephone number include, but are not limited to, providing a telephone number at Account opening, adding a telephone number to your Account at a later time, providing it to one of our employees, or by contacting us from that phone number. If a telephone number provided to us is a mobile telephone number, you consent to receive SMS or text messages at that number. We won’t share your phone number with non-affiliated third parties for their purposes without your consent, but may share your phone numbers with our Family of Companies or with our service providers, such as billing or collections companies, who may contact you using autodialed or prerecorded message calls or text messages. Standard telephone minute and text charges may apply if we contact you.

first call I get on my cell regarding some sales pitch is the day I buy a plane ticket to paypals head office and some one there gets a punch in face....
course I think my cell number is black listed for telemarketers...you threaten to pull one guys lower intestines out his nostrils and they call you 'dangerous' 'psychotic' and 'should be under medical care in a secure facility' :)

Or you try some variation on this approach that does not infringe or break the law.

hey, it's only serious punishment if I only threaten it......if I do it well then that's a slap on the wrist and a remanded sentence here in Canada...In Canada we don't believe in actually punishing people that do things :)

case in point...

Riots in the UK=within weeks of riots those that committed serious offences are caught, tried, and some do some time

Mean while in Vancouver Canada (a Stones throw from where I live), Riots over a hockey game=over 2 years later they finally tried a few of them and they got at most a 500 dollar fine and told don't do it again

Doesn't count. Hockey is worth rioting over to most Canadians. ;)

There are some advantages to living in the nation with more CCTV per capita than any others - rioters get caught and jailed :-)

In the U.S. rioters are expected. If you don't have somebody in your riot indiscriminately looting homes and defecating on police cars then your political voice is never heard. :P Oh, and we don't arrest rioters, we applaud them apparently.

A little of both, actually. But only if they're moderately well behaved and politically acceptable. But I think we're wandering off topic, and into dangerous waters no less.
