Here we go!

Please choose 3 Poll options (one in each category) !

Would you like to see some kind of discount for formations of multiple EoVs?

What option would you prefer?

Mix and match?

Point pricing?

- Chroma has expressed that he didnt feel such discounts were appropriate to Eldar, because it felt too much like IG or Orks.

- the majority has expressed itself in favour of something along the lines of discounts for multiple formations.

I personally think that discount can be a good thing, but should not be too flexible. I would be more in favour of 1-3 EoV's of choice at 250 each OR 2 of the same at 450 for example, than 3 different point schemes.

Express yourself! :)

I do agree that EoV should be able to mix n match, not least because I am not convinced that three Storm Serpents are viable. But that provides a problem if you feel that different EoV have varying costs. Consequently discounts become problematic, especially if we adopt some of the proposed boosts, which admittedly are intended to level the costs / values of each.

The other thing to consider is whether these costs and discounts are still as appropriate at 5000 points.

(IMO the value of the various units change during the game depending on their circumstances and potential but that is a different debate).

So while I understand the desire to use discounts to make multiple EoV more attractive, I remain to be convinced that it is practical without being abusable.

LordotMilk, is your goal here to somehow improve the Swordwind list or to gauge how to improve a variant SHT list?

I am just animating an Eldar review.

The people in charge will do what they want with it.

I certainly would not advise a discount for multiple EoV's (in BT) unless it was a widely approved change, which it seemed to be in another thread.

Well I guess this poll shows that there is no clear majority towards multiple EoV discounts.

yeah have to agree with E&C, the poll had too many options, none of which fit my personal opinion of 'leave them as they are'

Here you go, a poll even I can understand (and I'm an idiot).
