I have not seen the models close up, only in pics ... however, I'd imagine the troop ramp would probably come down, like on an M113, LCM or Amtrack, not up like a garage door ... but whatever ... 8)

It is actually an interesting issue. If you imagine that the vehicle is used as a ram to plow through obstables, perhaps smashing through walls and stuff, quite a lot of debris would pile up in front of the dozer blade. Obviously most modern vehicles have the ramp mounted at the rear to avoid this issue. But for a front ramp vehicle, you wouldn't need much stuff in front of the door before you would be unable to open it and disembark your troops, if it opens like most standard ramps. ..At least I think so...but again this is sci fi, so some suspension of disbelief is probably advisable :D ;)

the way I envisioned it was the dozer blade lifts up and then an inner door drops down, allowing the troops to disembark..... not sure if my modelling skills are up to gouging the entire insides of the model out somehow..... ;)

You know, if said "insides" were refactored to already be open then the weight of said item would be less facilitating theorietically cheaper shipping ;)
