Very strange, could they be some kind of resin masters? Or demos produced for display like the supersize bfg ships?

I'm guessing recasts.

Really nice quality on them from the look of it - better than some of the metal ones I've got!

A few of those are stretching belief, and the rest are almost certainly recasts. I don't think that the Beetleback was ever made in resin (although Gargants were, so I could be wrong) and the old 2nd Ed IG Deathstrikes I am almost 100% certain were not.

GW never sold resin beetlebacks though this could be some funky prototype or other outlier as previously noted. Almost certainly recasts. Provided WYSIWYG, those are some damn fine recasts, especially for the titan though in all honesty, that thing really had almost no detail present. Good for back in 1990, not so much now. However it does have a certain golly gee-wiz factor I'll admit :D

The figures didn't sell for much considering the number of items and their detail. I would have been disappointed if i was the seller.

I know the seller and I can say that he is not disgusted with the earnings... he only want to help Epic players with economic prices. ;)

Could be. My english aren't the best so perhaps I didn't express myself well. ;)
