He is mostly made from resin, giving it that colour.

Resin? I thought making models out of resin was something that GW had only been doing relatively recently?...

I think it was a bit of a one off, how to fill such a large body without it costing a bomb. Maybe that was the only thing they could think of doing, it must be over 10 years since I bought it so the GW might not have been quite as advanced at building big models *shrug*.

The first two Great Gargant models produced had resin bodies & metal accessories. They were pretty much just prototypes for the metal models, but it seems more were made than I thought up until a year or so back - they keep cropping up all over the place!

Like Nessie and the Yeti, these old anomalies occasionally show up ! Darkone was "in search of" these, but I don't if he ever found them ... ?
