Looking good :)

What are those vehicles in the pic?

One tip I'd recommend when painting is not to blend your colors on a piece of paper. Find an old piece of plastic that doesn't soak the paint. I then have an underlayer of MDF board I also use to wipe off my brush before drybrushing the piece. I find this easier to control: When my brush runs out of paint, the color mix hasn't dried out, and I can easily wipe off the wetnness from the paint on the MDF. I prefer the brush to be VERY dry. It takes somewhat longer to paint but you can get very smooth transitions between colors that way. Also when drubrushing large surfaces like terrain I always use circular strokes. I find that it gives a more airbrushed effect and looks more random than the streaks you easily get with linear brush strokes.

Anyway: keep up the good work :)

hmm...i always wondered how to make the paint not to soak in to the paper, thank you! This is exactly my problem, i am trying to drybrush the whole thing as fast as possible before all the paint is dryed and soaked away...this could ease the whole painting a lot :)

and the vehicles are some Soviet APCs from GHQ models. But they are painted horribly :D it is from time when i had no experience with 6mm minis and i didnt even know anything about drybrushing, so they are only washed :)

next step with this piece of terrain is that i want to add some more detail, like barels, debries, boxes etc...so that it wount look so empty, then i will move to the landing platform itself

Nice work, I like the rough overgrown look of the place. Almost abandonned --even with the APCs parked there. It may not be what you were going for but it works for me. Only give away that somethings up at that installation is the shiney new defence gun!

Thanks for posting! We all get to learn from others and the painting advice from Warmaster Nice is well...Top Drawer!

Keep up the good work! Cheers.

thnks :) and dont worry, everything Warmaster sais i do :) i was going for that abandoned look, like it is untouched for some years now, so i like to hear it wokrs well :) and that defense gun is very rusty, but it seems the pics are quite bright i think...may be put some grass and sand on it, so it dont shine? i will make some pics as soon as i catch a better light, becouse my camera is quite an old piece of equipmnet... :D

I like that little mountain w/large rocks right beside the pipe building. That is impassible correct? Nice and large to block line of sight too.

You might want to go back and work on your trees a bit with that hill. I don't believe that trees grow out of things at angles like you have there.

yes that part is impassable and it block LoS very well :) i dont like flat terrain. i like if there is plenty room for manuevering around obstacles and hiding. and i know the trees are a bit weird :) but i cant get any free time to do anything right know....tooooooo much work in last few weeks :(

Good looking stuff. Love the fact that all the ground is rough and bumpy.
