I was a little annoyed at how they were painting up

I know what you mean,
my growing Space Marine army is still on hold
since I was dissapointed how they turned out

Vaaish, yours are some of the models I would truly love to see in person. Your style is so recogniseable and effective! Always great to see more from you.

Mate,

What do I say, everyone above has said it all, again I am a very very happy customer. Looking forward to seeing these guys patrolling the airbase soon.

Cheers
Aaron

Thanks! I think I've just got the thunderhawks and landers left out of that first box now. I fear those will be quite time consuming with the level of detail the FW stuff has on it.

Tuff: I think we might make it across the pond this coming spring. I really don't know if I'll have any time, but we'll be coming into London for a couple of days before moving on.

Well if you think you do have time when you do come over, I would be honoured to meet up. Could be a good excuse for a small scale painters convention :) Drop me an email / PM nearer the time if its looking possible time and I'll clear a diary space for it!

I'll drop you a line closer to when we head out, Tuff.

Rastamann: These are pretty straight forward highlights since it goes a bit quicker if I can reduce the pots I have out. (this usually means I end up with 20 on the table by the end of the project). Hightlights here are white with a touch of blood red and pure white for pop.

Yes, it's been ages since I posted. No I haven't done a whole lot either. But I CAN finally say these strike cruisers are now complete which is great news for me. They've also been the longest running paint project for me. Mainly I wanted to push things a bit in terms of blending so I resolved to use no washes or drybrushing on the models. I even decided to do engine glow which I typically avoid although I couldn't bring myself to highlight the models up to pure white. Hope you enjoy them. Now I can move back to some commission mechs and some of my own for a while. I'll be posting some better shots of one of the BC and one of the regular SC later.

Stunning.

The engine glow in particular is incredibly realistic, but then so is the blending on the side plates. Simply superb all around.

Yeah looks great Vaaish. Simply stunning! Can't say realistic though... Haven't seen to many city sized starship engines in my line of work...
