No i haven't used BOFA minis, I've used the regular orcs and goblins from GW. I'm actually a big fan of the GW's warmaster range in general (with a few exceptions of course). I chose chaos dwarfs because you get like two armies in one, it would be very easy to start an orc and goblin army.
I've bought the eureka stuff that you can't converte from GW dwarfs. Like the cannon, centaurs and bull riders. They're nice but of course need some big hats
As for the boltthrowers. I haven't actually done any yet and I haven't quite figured out how to do them.
