Sorry for the lack of updates...my son has been fairly unwell recently.

But he's on the mend (in fact he's been "helping" me paint an Ork tank for 40k :) ) and I'm back to work on epic-like stuff

Will get pics up in a couple of days of what's done so far.

See ya soon :)

Very inspirational conversions.

I'm building a Knight World army at the moment using the em4 robots models; I'll have to nick a few of your ideas :)

Sorry I've not updated.
Unfortunately ended up in hospital and needed a minor op... :S
But should be back up and running (or is that painting?) in a few days...at least once I find my camera that is :D

Thanks lindstrom, frogbear and SpeakerToMachines...they're really simple conversions for the most part, but look really good (even if I do say so myself :) ) and feel free to "nick" the ideas...I actually stole the base idea from ceimeifukan on this thread:http://www.taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=19417

Thanks for the compliment and I'm definitely on my way to recovery.

Pics will be up once I buy a new camera (the one I had died a rather bad death...son + water bottle + camera = uh oh...) on Monday.

Hmmm...re-admissions to hospital suck.

I've stripped the plastic models I had painted as they didn't look right, so I'm re-painting them just now.
That and trying to get a commission done (3500pts of Orks when they are all infantry is soul destroying).

Anyhoo...here's some pics, will have more up in a couple of days.
The bases will be getting done once I buy some more basing materials (all been used on the Orks lol).

They're both still WiP, so need cleaning up on the hazard lines, glazed canopies... etc.

Comments and criticisms welcome as always... ;D

EDIT: GRAAAAAGH! MOLD LINES! Honestly they don't look like that in RL...The plastic is a really crud quality so filing is a nightmare, Thought I'd got all of them though... >:(

And the other project that's taking up my time from epic:

I know it's not AM/Titan/Mechanicus goddies, but at least it shows I'm doing something other than sitting on my behind (and spending time at the mercy of the NHS... :D ).

Wow...nearly a year since I last posted in this thread, does it counts as Threadomancy if it's my own plog? :whistle

After some much needed visits to my local Mechanicus Magos Biologis and some medical "Tinkering" I am back and really wanting to get back into this army.

Unfortunately, my weak organic components (the flesh is WEAK!) have not been the only problem...my army case encountered a small mishap in the form of a flight of stairs...

Apparently GW army cases don't react well with bouncing down concrete steps...who knew? :nooo

This isn't necessarily a bad thing though as it means I can alter some of the model designs and try to strengthen a LOT of the titan weapon attachment points...

Anyhoo...I'm trying to get a couple of pics up of the next idea for my Forge Knights...still using the EM4 mechs as they're brilliant for converting.

new type of manipulator arm I'm going with on some of the models...hope to have some industrial chainsaws and drills too.

And something new I picked up... ;D

It was missing quite a few bits and was fairly badly damaged (the previous owner had tried to gouge out quite a few of the windows for some reason), but I'm in the process of restoring it to at least looking pretty. ;D

All your conversions really are turning out well, those little bits here and there really allow the proxies to fit in perfect. The re-arrangements on the Imperator make it look much better than the original. Nice work.

Thanks, WestSide! I appreciate it. :)

The Imperator needed so much done that I knew I'd have to compromise somewhere...so kind of just went with what I thought looked good.

The Forge Knight manipulator arm has now been sent to the Manufactorum for reverse engineering and study of it's STC.
So I should be able to have manipulator arms for my other 11 Forge Knights... :)

EDIT: Just a quick question to anyone that might know...
I'm looking at either of these as proxies for sentinels:
Medium mecha
Small Mecha

Anyone have any experience with these models? Will they look alright as sentinel proxies or will they just look rubbish?

My old Epic opponent back in the day used EM-4 for his Slaanesh knights and scout titans (i used some on my 40k Iron Warriors Obliterators that may see use as knights in my Epic chaos force).
