I prefer BL's stats but only because they are simpler in gameplay.
I note that these are available to a few chapter including Black Templars. Could this tank be used in a list like the Templars to help off set the none availability of Warhounds?
Say a limited number of Predators from a detachment can be upgraded for x points?

I did make a mistake too. The Plasma Destroyer doesn't slow down the tank. So Speed 30cm remains. Also adjusted the FF value to better match the Predator Destructor. If two Heavy Bolters and an Autocannon can gove FF 3+ so can twi Heavy Bolters and a Plasma Destroyer

If you put Slow-firing in the noters then the Lascannons are affeckted too.

damn you're right. my eyes read across that and catch "slow firing" and my brain shuffles it into the notes section. Never play with any anyways so never came up. Sweet so then->

Is this thing part of the Heresy items list from FW or is it for straight-up 40K games?

40k. It predates the Heresy Announcement by months. I am sure they will make an appearance there as well.

The Conversion beamer is quit simple to build with a Predator and an old eldar Vibrocannon !
