Trouble is my own Lander has two problems:
1) it's nowhere near as nice as the Prometheus
2) it's too big!
I am calling it Project 555. It's 555mm long...... anyone care to guess ho many Land Raiders lined up head to tail that is?

That's what I get for estimating the length. I was guessing 35mm, looks like 33mm then?

Yep. Bt that's a ridiculously accurate estimate! Do you have calibrated eyes? :)
And that's the current Land Raider by the way. Seems funny, though, half a metre sounds like more than nearly 17 Land Raiders! Scaled up to real size it would be as long as a reasonably sized (but not very large) ship of 167m length.
Such as this:

It's worse than that. I don't even own any current Land Raiders.

Hang on, I don't own that (wish I did!). I'm of course building a lander of my own..... much uglier.

April 30th.
Total models started: 30
Total models finished: almost 1

Admittedly, going abroad and having to deal with several visiting delegations which all chose to come in April did not help.
But neither did beginning models instead of finishing others.
On to May....

And back from a month of hell (and more to come).
Update - still no pics, but 4 ships, 1 Warhound, 1 stray beastie from EW are done; 5 knights just have their bases to be finished. The great big lander is still unpainted and unfinished.

Lovely stuff! Love the paint job on those hulls, and the transport is just awsome. Is the width of the transport compartment 40mm?
