Wowzer! I'd say the actual Epic model is slightly off from true scale, based on this project.

How do you plan on tackling the weight issue? Those legs look stong but I wonder whether they could handle the rest.

Could embed a cut PVC pipe as scaffolding perhaps?

CS, as jimmyzimms said a sort of scafolding rod through the middle, or i could just fill the legs with resin
the top will be kind of heavy as im looking at using my resin towers which are fairly light but the weapons im looking at using
brass/alloy pipes for the gattling type gun and the large cannon will be copper pipe and green stuff

I would love to start on the top now but it could turn out looking out of scale compared to the rest so im taking
my time and working upwards

Hi Guys,

Managed to get a bit more done on the god machine, purchased some pipe, wood and alloy sheet and knocked
a few more bits up, also carved some wooded legs as i decided to screw the legs on one for strengh and the
the other so i can change the leg postion

Next will be the head and the balcony

Anyway here are some progress pictures........ its getting quite big...

Did anyone else see the stubby little gun between his legs and think "awwe, poor guy".

Yes the stubby gun is placed funny but im trying to stick to the concept artwork so trying to get in as much detail
as possible within reason without going to mad

As for height a rough guess as im not sure what gun im going to use on the top cannon i would say 16" or 410mm
This is just as guess as i will fit the towers and the large collum and see what it pans out like.

I have moved on to the fortress balcony and taken a picture with two little sm that look pretty lost in the
scale of this creature

Anyway as they say a picture paints a thousand words so you can get an idea of the scale..........

Finally got round to doing a bit of sculpting on the god machine, large icons i could not find so had to resort to
greenstuff, also have started building up the head its basic but its got the general shape im after when dry i will
start adding detail work

Anyway here are a few pics.........

Have you considered making it modular so that you could potentially later build warmonger parts which could be switched in?

CTS, to be honest had not thought about it, had always just liked the old gw artwork with the imperators, so just wanted to
make one, im a bit of a scale geeh and wanted to build one to justify the machine that was shown in the old artwork,

Will have to have a look at the warmongers and see its long range bombardment right

all the bits will be fairly easy to remove if i went in that direction hopefully.


Few pics with some towers just to see what it would like will use another deodrant lid form the top round roof aswell





Will cut the towers down and paint them red and gold when i put another two at the back they will be slighly higher,
the ones in the pic i will probably trim some off as they seem to high compared to the drawings
