Simple but VERY effective!. Its the little details that make epic so great, and this is one of those!

I like the building, but I want to state the most obvious fact that most every terrain painter forgets:

Buildings come in more colors than gray.

Take a stroll down your neighborhood street, or the first commercial area you come to. Count the number of gray buildings, then count how many different colors are represented. Now, paint your buildings as such :)

Also, what SK said is right on. If you are representing concrete, its ok. If it is ground or road, you can make some radically different color schemes to bring it to life.

That being said, I do REALLY like the building and I think the weathering on it is ace!

Thanks for the feedback.

I think I'll try washing the ground around the buildings and roads with a blue wash to give a slate look. should seperate the grey buildings enough.

can't agree more about mixing the building colours up a bit, I'm planning to have a few more industrial types in the sam colours together and then the rest of the buildings will get some sombre colours.

when I get on to the ruined buildings I'm also planning to paint the interiors differently to represent interior decor just a bit unsure if this will look ok or a bit much.
