Financial ruin has approached! To most board members my continuing struggles with money will be a familiar occurence by now; "What is it this time?" they will ask...well, put simply I missed my plane back from Amsterdam and was forced to spend my savings getting home :-(...not a happy hippy.

So, I'm being forced to sell my very good condition copy of the 2009 Space Hulk Game on Ebay: the thing I'd like to point out is:

"If the auction winner was interested I would also be happy to paint the rest of the figures on commision: either continuing the colour scheme's already created or coming to some other agreement. Examples of my work can be linked to online, I'd count myself as a better than most quality painter."

And if a board member wins the auction and let's me know they found the auction on here I'll also throw in free postage IF they want me to paint the rest at a reasonble price!

For those with skinnier pockets...I've also got a Dystopian Wars Rulebook, and some Epic 'nids for sale: genestealers and a Heirophant.

Yargh! Could of been a good idea...unfortunately that boat never saw the light of day :-(...I ended up squatting over the summers before going to oz for some time out...lodging with friends now but still trying to
a) start up own bicycle building company
b) buy boat!

Becoming a mad wargaming bicycle man living on a boat is still my dream...and the idea of sailing it amsterdam for fine quality smoking materials is something that appeals quite a bit: well done for the idea!

If it's any help i sometimes pretend that my current student house is a boat, well, a ship. An attic room with skylight window things means that I have to batten down the hatches when it rains, the stairs are the rigging (especially effective when bedsheets are drying on the banisters – sails!), the kitchen the engine room, and the living room the kitchen. Unfortunately the specialisations of my house(ship)mates has led to an uneven distribution of skills: with a complement of 3 joint-chief engineers and one ship's typographer seeming insufficient for any meaningful undertaking.

I elected myself captain, an easy process given that no one else views the house as a ship.

I've just agreed to sell someone at the local store my Dystopian Wars fleet too and have been comissioned to paint it which is nice :-) Got the last of those T.Sons 40k scale to finish this next week too so that will go on ebay soon. It's just a shame as those savings were meant for my first batch of bicycle wheel building parts as a sole trader but it'll have to wait.

I've got work with a cycle path charity this summer that starts next weekend too so I'll have hobby (and food!) money again very soon!

Guess i'll have to buy Dystopian Wars 1.1 and a new fleet in a few months! I've got all my epic armies ready to be finished at the moment so unless I go nuts and make a squat army in the distant future I can't see any more expenditure.

Even I can't spend that much on dope...KLM are a massive rip off :-(! I hadn't noticed you were from Munich Ulric :-)! My old employers are based there and I've lived and worked around Deutschlanders for quite some time now...company called 'Socialdata': we research how and why people travel and whether or not they could do so by bicycle instead. I've never learnt much German...but I can tell you that I am a shark with a lazer on my head..."Ich bin ein Haie mit lasern auf mein Kopfe!" see! (Although I might have the work for "shark" and "egg" mixed up!)

By the way...I've got some 28mm Space Egyptians on Ebay now!
