The three Trojans or or three Gun Emplacements options seem to indicate that only one of them is legal, but the text doesn't really say.
Only one. They're costed defferently, you'll notice.

Yes, the Tank Upgrade costs are the same for Tank Squadrons and Tank Platoons.
