Ok I'm looking for a picture that I know exist but I can't seem to find it. A flip through my WD did not reveal it to me.
I believe it was a Golden deamon section. It is a 40K scale homebuilt Thunderbolt fighter-bomber in a launch bay. There are two Mordian figures painted to represent navy personal.
Does any one know where I can see this pic or what WD it appears in.
Thanks for any help.
Take Care

I'm afraid I havent got time to hunt down a link, but theres two chances. 1) theres a site that lists all the heavy metal sections from White Dwarf & has scans of most of them. 2) the Diorama in question is on display in a cabinet at Warhammer World (GW HW, Nottingham) so it may be worth checking WW's site in case they have a picture.

Quote (Jimbo @ 19 2004 Jan.,09:08) | It was made by Dave Andrews, and IIRC it won the GD 96 Open Competition, therefore it is in a very old WD. | Jimbo is right but I can't remember the year - if is is 1996, this would be WD 205; in case it;s 1997, this would be WD 218; and WD230 for 1998, although it's hardly likely to be this late. cheers.

Been to the Aberdeen Proving Grounds Tank Museum in Maryland (G/W US is a waays up the road) when I was a cadet decades ago. ? ? ? At Ft. Benning, Ga., the US Army Infantry Center, there is a nice Museum there called the Infantry Museum (amazingly) with about 2 dozen or so AFVs and 3 floors of US Army history. ?Artifacts from all over the world. ?The US Army Parachute, Pathfinder and Ranger Schools are there too, among others. ?I was stationed there three times. ?Twice for training and once with the Mech Bde (now 3 Bde/3ID). ?If you all are ever out that way check it out ... ?

One which some of you might have been to- Duxford in Cambridgeshire is an excellent military museum- it is part of the Imperial War Museum and has a vast site. There are several giant hangers full of hundreds of aircraft of all types- the TSR-2, Vulcan and the American collection are particually interesting... Well worth a visit imo, especially to one of the summer airshows.... ?
