That's a big titan. And those skulls on it looks to be at least 10 scale feet tall...

I have my hypothesis for the top secret force. Need more pics to confirm.

I'm thinking those skulls are at LEAST 20' high. Somewhere long ago I saw some art work of Space Marines pouring out of the doors of the feet of the Imperator in pairs. So I would surmise that marines are 8' tall in armor and the doors looked about a couple feet taller than a marines. The skulls look twice the size of the doors. Just using eyeball though.

Post #2 – Assembly and organizing.

Army #4 - So I'm just about finished with all the assembly of the Titan Legion. I will start basing soon. I will be keeping most of the Titans in major pieces which will be assembled after painting. I really hate trying to paint behind something. Can't wait to get the brush to these guys. It's been a long time coming. I know your probably wondering why I'm working on these instead of the EA tournament force and I've been asking myself the same question. I just feel like it needs to be done. That and I had a little setback, which I'll explain later. The display board has been planned out and the frame has been made. Now I need a good weekend to get started.

Army #2 - As for the Kreig Army, I'm still deciding on what troopers I will be ordering for my Kreig infantry and I'm going to be needing a butt-load of bases to boot. There's so many choices out there to choose from. Now I just have to get them. When it comes to vehicles, I've got those in spades. Most of the vehicles have been cleaned and assembled (or partial assembled) and are awaiting priming and painting. I am also waiting on my latest shipment from the Kreig Forgeworld. (I know your watching Tech Priest Otter). Need to start on fortifications too. Anyone think 40mm bases too big for Earthshaker platforms? Kinda leaning that way.

Army #3 - Awaiting the last of my PanzerIII tanks and working on bases for the infantry. The display board I have chosen for the FoW army will be a section of a burned out town (somewhere in France I assume) from fighting. I will be using the new FoW city bases for my troops and will try to incorporate as much of the extra parts from the bases into the scene as possible. Still debating on scratch built buildings or some kits with heavy modification. Guess it'll depend on time.

Army #1 – Major Snafu happened Friday with Forge World over in Jolly England. My order (last of it thank God...my wallet hurts really bad) didn't get processed thanks to my credit card company thinking that my card was being used for nefarious reasons. I get a call on Friday morning from the CC Company asking me if I had done the transaction (day before), which of coarse I did. At least they (CCC) are doing their job. I can feel safer knowing that when I really need to use it, I'll get denied...LOL! Oh well, mess got cleared up and hopefully everything will be here (STL) soon. At least I'll have the main force assembled, primed and hopefully halfway painted before the FW goodies come to my door. By the way, I'd just like to say for the record, the guys at Forge World are some of the nicest gents on the phone I've ever talked to. Top notch! I always imagine everyone there is smiling, playing GW games and tinkering away, casting/building things like it was Santa's workshop at the North Pole...I know it's a pleasant fiction, but at least it makes me smile.

Oh yeah, and one more thing. It didn't dawn on me that I have been trying to upload “too big of files” for my pics to the post, so now that I know better, I'll be posting the pics back on here and not my Flickr account. Although I will still be uploading to Flickr as well.

That is all. Carry on!

EBB, I've seen otterware saltshakers on FoW medium bases and they fit perfectly, FYI. Those things are pretty big. Can't remember the measurements of the FoW bases offhand though.

So I've got a little update on progress. This week as been tough with both kids sick, but I've managed to get some painting in as far as picking colors schemes. I'm hoping to get a lot of painting in over the weekend. I'll post more pics in a couple days, but here is something to start with.

Kreig Gorgon and Earthshaker

The Gorgon is supposed to be 2-toned, but you can't tell with the light and crappy camera. I'll have some better pics later on. I'm basically going with grays and greens for the primary color palette.

Yeah I don't think it really is that bright. I think my photoshop skills are a little exaggerated in the lighting department. :o But thank you for the comments Apoc just the same!

On the other had, my interpretation of the Kreig army is that they always have new shiny gear to go along with their new soldiers that they are cranking out due to their warfare of attrition. Maybe I'm wrong... ;)
