I have a great use for them- what I've done is got my family and friends to collect them and give them to me. I then drawing pin them onto my bedroom ceiling, and now, as it is over 3/4 covered, it looks very cool indeed, all shiny and reflective... ..Its taken me a while to do tho, there must be over 2000 Cds stuck up there currently..

Well, now we know what to do with all those "Dixie Chicks" CDs, that went on sale recently ... under a titan or on the ceiling can be added to the list ...

Being mad seems to be a common thing around here though!
Maybe i should try it? Do you have them overlapping? How do you get an even cover?
Cheers

I don't have them overlapping, no, I butt them up against each other, so that 3 form a kinda triangle shape, If you know what I mean.. To get an even cover at the edges, I have to saw just about every other CD in half, to get them level.. thats the mad bit really... an absoloute b*tch of a job!!

I have to warn you about the sawing bit- it is really, really hard and boring- if you hacksaw them in half, then be prepared for a lot of mess, and if you stanly knife and then snap (what I do), then watch out for flying shards of CD!!.. you might want to just leave gaps at the edges insted..

I was thinking of using a mitre saw to do it. One of those on a stand that moves to different degree cuts.
Cheers
