I've got base colours on my Gargant. But now I'm painting something else (not even mini's) and cant arsed to put detail on it. I am that lazy, regarding painting, that I might not finish it for another year. ::)

Even though the deadline will have passed you can still buy ticets for full scale assault at the winter warmer. Darren (reedar) has kindly agreed to take any sales £4 for new players £8 otherwise

24 Players present and correct: all weighed up (in kg) and paid up for what might be the UK's HEAVIEST EPIC TOURNAMENT!

Armies look fantastic, Bristol locals Ben Edgar and Necron Tom lead the table with 32 full points each!

Round 2 coming up!

o its a great thing for players, but as a tournament organiser(40k) my self if every one got max points on some thing then it shows that some thing was poorly/not exsplained<< lol. If every one gets the same score then theres no way to tell who really was better at what ever the score was for. I always make sure to include a short statement next to each number on the resaults sheets that tell the players what the points mean in terms of - if you give your opponent this (A), it means that (B). and generaly speeking the highest point is ususaly stated as - the best game of your life, or, the best looking army at the tournament, or some thing to that effect. That way people actualy have to think about what points to give your opponent, rather then blindly filling in max scores for every thing (for what ever reason). I understand some tournaments are freindlyer then others but still...

Sports questions are
- Would you play your opponent again?
- Were all rules disputes agreed in an amicable way?
- Was the pace of the game satisfactory?
- Did you enjoy playing your opponents army?

Ideally everybody gets max points, in addition everybody nominates their most sporting opponent

ooo I see, so it was a less of a opponent review but a overall game exsperience. I cant say Iv seen it done that way. Some of those seem like werid things to check or some what the same but I guess if thats the way you like it. Is this the way its normaly done in the UK? like is this a common way of pointing tournaments(even non epic ones) or ?.?.?

Pity 6 dropped out, but still a great day, with some valuable playtesting too.

This method of sportmanship was popular in many systems in the UK. Many have dropped it entirely now relying on players speaking to TO's with conerns and they then applying penalties as required.

Sportmanship remains one of the most hotly debated topics really.

Sounds like everyone had fun at the event MoK :)
