Incorporating The Worlds
The BHGS are delighted to announce the dates for this year’s Britcon have now been confirmed as Friday 10th – Sunday 12th August 2012. The venue will be the traditional location of the University of Manchester, England.
Since the last Britcon the committee have been working hard to ensure the dates do not conflict with other events happening during the month of August from both a National and International perspective.
The delay in announcing the dates has been due to a major renegotiation of the contract with UMIST, investigations of new venues and discussions with International bodies. A calculated risk was taken in sharing the date with Wargames Illustrated before the final contract was in place with the University.
More information regarding the construct of the event, ticket prices and accommodation options will become clear in the very near future.
The BHGS would like to thank everyone for their patience and apologise to those who have been inconvenienced by the delay.
