Happy New Year all! The Sydney fireworks here were pretty spectacular Make the most of things now though, as this might be our last if those Mayons were right.

Anyone care to post up you 2012 New Years Resolutions? If you're making any and model related or not I guess. I generally make some but quickly forget entirely what they were, but this way they're there for posterity. Mine are:

Learn to sail
Build and paint several thousand points of the Minotaurs chapter for epic
Get fit and happy again
Grow lots of food
Cycle all the way round Australia

Hopefully all do-able, time will tell.

oh dear, equating fitness and happiness in one resolution.

get fit. let happiness find you.

Ill bite, actually found it fairly useful last year

2012:

Model related:
a) Finish another 6mm fantasy army
b) Finish an epic army (ha!)
c) Write 6mm fantasy rules
d) Sculpt minimum of 2 new 6mm figures

Me related:
1) No swearing in speech or writing*
2) Get fitter and gain weight – aim to be 60kg by 2013
3) Find new funded course/a job and a house etc after postgrad degree ends.



* Excluding quotations and typed abbreviations etc, as i may require the use of both academically. Though neither should be used excessively as an excuse to circumlocute the resolution.

finish at least 6 pieces of terrain.
get demon war engines list to playtest ready status
get doombeak and Crystaldrake models printed
build three 1000 point armies - any faction.

Aquanautica:
finish and start 3d print negotiations for Aquanatica PDF fleet and Chaos Fleet.
complete Aquantuatica model set for Orks, Tau, Sisters of Battle, rebel grotz, demon fleet, ad-mech ect
get 'the battle for Hrothpool' Aquanautica supplement to draft status

40k:
finish Ad-mech ogryn and Knight off. Optionally another squad of men, the valk, and the prowler tank
Start casting / kitbashing Varyngr up. Must be GW tournament compliant
Optionally build Sister's Catherdra and troop carrier.

Real world:
reduce number of jobs to sensible amount
learn to manage stress
spend less time on internet.
move back to UK
start degree
optionally try to put some muscle on.
