Looks like a nice clean cast: a few danglies that should come off in the first test cast or two, and some bubbles near (but not at) the surface.

Edit: BTW, Otter: this is OOMOO 30 when it goes right.

Certainly looks promising !!!!

Sweet looking so far SG! ;D

I think the furry water mammal and big bad blue wolf should help you in your journey to create giant shooting things to add to your war barque of awesomeness. ::)

Hm, an interesting notion. There may be things like that involved in the Hover Garbage Barge project.

Good point. Depending on size, and whether I can get an onpertional mold, I may contact you on that point once your HGBoM (Hover Garbage Barge of Modernity) is further progressed.

Here's the basic airframe for the Punisher.
Image

Now, on to the engine configuration.

A) As in the sketch, four engines in one block at the wing root:

B) Two closely spaced pairs, with room for external stores between:

C) Two widely spaced pairs (at the root and downturn):

Whatever I chose, I'll trim the engine cowlings to fit - they won't stick out the rear more than option A).

A, certainly makes more sense to an engineer if that matters at all. :)

I still think a B-29 cockpit style would be cool. But it looks great

Thanks Dave! That link to the papercraft Warmaster Buildings was super-helpful - I had no idea they existed.

And now, after about 6 hours of work, I've got a villiage!
Image
These things are really easy to make, and surprisingly detailed. I was also able to find roads from Toschach Miniatures for a fiver; they also sell them in 6mm and 15mm scale.

I particularly like the church, which has a steeple at a jaunty angle in this photo:
Image

But that's because the steeple is removable, and fits a 20mm x 20mm base, and may (I've not checked yet) fit a 25mm round or square):
Image

I need to find a method to either connect or weight the roads, which tend to get knocked about in-game, as I found last night, but overall I'm satisfied given the time and money spent: $13 for the cardstock, $5 for the road file, plus ink. And I've got most of a table's worth of terrain out of it.

Those look great. How does a stand scale next to a door?

If you're looking for more there's also these:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/fpm/archive

They're for 28mm, so you'd have to print them around ~35% or so depending on what looks good.
