What do you guys think? are these a recast?

This exact picture was used about 4 months ago selling the same stuff.. they are all primed aswell as his other pics too.

Assuming they are metal, i would think they are legit. Or if recast, then done so well you wouldn't know (unless anything obvious shows up handling them in real life) .

Yeah, I can't see anything that would indicate they're fakes. Of course the one picture is small enough it's hard to tell. But I'd tend to agree with Apoc.

it could be a different batch of minis and he just reused the photo

Looks like markfield miniatures won them and decided they where worth 3x what he paid.

Just curious, but what is the issue with recasts? I understand issues with poorly done recasts just as I understand issues with crap GW/FW casts.

If it wasn't for the recasting being done in PA presently, there would be far, far fewer Games Day models, MM90 Chaos Dwarfs, and the older Steeds of Slaanesh. My only wish would be for recasters to stand behind their work and advertise it as such. It's a bit insulting when some goof who has sold off 35+ IG Female Commissars tries to play it off as a GW original.

Overall, the good recasters can help put hard to find minis in more people's hands.

Well he has had nearly 800 sales with 100% rating so somebody has money !!! Its turned into a nice little earner for him. I guess he wont stop buying while people continue to pay his ridiculous prices.

I originally started this thread because i was curious if the auction was a recast, due to the same picture being used from an identical auction. And that they where primered i read somewhere most recasters primer models to sell on ebay to hide imperfections. Then i was cruising epic auctions on ebay and saw the same mini's a week or so later being sold for way more then he snagged them for. Just sad really.
