I will check with the Speed Freaks Champion what it should be.

Just noticed that in the Speed Freaks list, GunForts when bought for a Blitz Brig are 135pts, but when bought for a Fortress Mob are 125pts.

Also, the BatFort upgrade for a Fortress Mob is only 100pts. About what it's worth I reckon, but should it be 115pts?

Are nt those the same points costs as official GW Speed Freekz army list?

Cheers

Nah, EUK list has all GunForts at 125pts and BatForts at 115pts.

Quick Q - in the Stompy Mob Warband, the cost of upgrading Nobz to MegaNobz is 15pts, but the same upgrade if purchased as part of a Big Gunz Mob is 25pts.

Which is correct? Or are the different values intentional?

Cheers

Should both be 15pts.

Was thinking perhaps *all* nobz in the stompy list could be mega nobz... Thoughts?

Ditto what RM said, I think it would be a good 'fluffy' change.

Thoughts

Only bit I'm not sure about would be the issue around moving. At move 10cm they would slow down foot warbands (but not Gunzmobs), and the cost to mechanise the warband would be pretty dam high. A minimum of two Stompas (either flavour) and 2 Flakwagons. That's a min of 420 pts. Realistically it's gonna be 570pts as I don't think Kustom stompas will be that popular due to the lack of shields.

Is that cost + the cost of the warband going to be too prohibitive?

E&C, do you have the version numbers for each of these lists? I need to list them in the army book.

Cheers

I wouldn't actually expect the Warbands to stay mounted up when on the move, as the transport Stompas only move 15cm... so the Meganobz could ride, whilst the infantry clustered about them.

About to go to V3.04 at the next update (today) to avoid confusion though if that helps.

True. I'd be happier if the boyz could all ride - much safer that way and less susceptible to BP weapons....

I'll give it a whirl and see how it works out mate.

Hey E&C, quick design Q for you.

Any reason why Mekboy Dreadmobz can't either Kustom or Mekboy Stompas as upgrades?

Cheers

I saW them as being transports in the stompy list and only made them available on that basis.

Perhaps they dread mobs could get access to them?
And/or maybe the supa stompa?
