Where in the UK do you guys find your "A-frames"? I have boards and require battle but don't want to crawl on the floor.

You mean sawhorses?

You build them. A bunch of wood, a saw, and some nails. And a hammer, I suppose, though you could just bash the nails in with the saw.

I really want some kind of collapsable version - space is a premium in the office at the moment.

Lisa would punch me in the wot nots if I encrouched any further on her order processing space.

do you not have hardware stores in the UK? thats where ours come from. you can get nice collapsable ones quite easily (though i personally have a collapsable table of similar dimensions which i place my boards on top of)

Yeah - had a roam around Homebase but they they just gave me vacant stares. I could have a rumble down to the local Wickes, with luck might find 'em there.

Forget Homebase, they're just a decorating store really. Try B&Q.

I strongly recommend these folding tables. I bought 4 of them back in 2009 and they're great for gaming as I can have a 4x4, 6x4 or 8x4 table depending what's suitable and I just cover them with a large piece of green cloth and play straight on the tables. They fold down to a 2x2 feet stack for storage and have a carrying handle to carry them easily while folded. At other times they see use as general tables, the computer I'm typing is on one at the moment. They're a bit heavy to carry for long periods of time, but I have walked to a friends house carrying one in each hande to play a Cthulu board game on recently. Looking closely the design on the legs looks slightly different to mine, but overall it looks basically the same and are sold by the same Amazon seller.
