An update at last!
It's the EpicUK Grand Tournament this weekend and so I'm trying to get this army done by then: luckily I'm not working right now so I've got plenty of time. I've just finished all the armoured vehicles...

If people could put up with some slightly worse than my average photo's that would be great: in a new room, in a new house, late at night: not so much light but I have done some fiddling!

Really nice work on the paintwork side MoK especially the rust effects on the large tracked wagon, Also especially like the over run/ withdrawn sandbag with the pintle mount cannon overhung, very cool ;)

Look forward to more updates

Regards epic

MoK the weathering on your tanks is awesome i love the gritty feel. I also agree the gun being overrun on the sandbags is a nice touch. As far as the thing at the end.... i'm not exactly sure but the first thought that comes to mind is a maxipad....

Very cool, really like the EW btiz on the gun carriage base.

And that could turn into some trenchworks :)

Thanks as always guys :-) I'm really enjoying painting these and really do think they're the best thing I've managed yet :-) They look even better in the flesh but people will have to wait until I get down the local store to use really good camera stuff.

We have a winner!

Yep: 2 Sets of trenches, gun emplacements, razor wire and bunkers are in the making: someone remind me why I do this to myself again?

I'll post a tutorial after the weekend :-)

The EW scenery pieces spread throughout the army really bring it all together and make the artillery pieces feel a bit more 'alive' :-)

Off to continue painting 50+ stands of infantry...and then I've got to create some griffons too...and finish the trenchworks...and base everything...and varnish it...
...
and then go to a tournament, by FRIDAY!!!

Great stuff- especially the Otterian Medusas. The aquatic furry mammal has certainly offered us many treats. Was impressed by the bases- I had nt really noticed these from E/W but you are right- they definitely help give a bit of variety and detail.

Cheers

James

very nice krieg army from what I can see in your photos. Almost makes me want to start up one but I've already got a large enough guard army and far to many other projects to go :)
