1- can a commander use its ability to assault with 2 formations that are on reserve using portals?
2- can a formation go back to reserves after winning an assault if there is an available portal?
3- a pylon assaulted by 4 termis that get into contact cant attack?
4- after loosing the assault the pylon regroups, can it do anything else than initiate an assault?
5- can a formation go to reserves using a portal for some units and another portal for the rest?

1 - No, because those formations are not within 5cm.
2 - Yes, as long as they can all get to the portal with their consolidation move.
3 - Yep.
4 - It can't do anything at all. An immobile unit that loses an assault is automatically destroyed.
5 - No. All must use tha same portal.

A Pylon is Fearless so fortunately, it is not destroyed upon losing an Engagement.
Once it rallies in the end phase, it can activate normally during the next turn (although it will have a Blast Marker on it after rallying).

as it will be in the ZoC of the termies once regrouped, the rulebook says it must either assault or get out of the ZoC... and being inmobile it cant get out... am i wrong?

No, you're not wrong at all.

IF a Pylon is in the ZoC of an enemy unit, it can either wait to activate later in the turn (in the hope that the enemy units move away) or Engage them.
Your original question didn't mention that the Pylon was still in the ZoC of an enemy formation. :)

Notably, the terminators will also be in the zone of control of the Pylon, so will need to move away during their consolidation move. The Pylon may be broken, but still exerts a ZoC.

No, they don't. They have to charge or leave in their next activation (1.7.3). Additionally, the Pylon has lost its control zone for the entire engage action (if contacted by two or more terminators).

Meh. The point is that the Pylon is an immobile, fearless war engine and follows the normal rules.

Once it survives the hackdown hits, It will be destroyed if there are enemies at 15cm or less (non fearless units).
