is the title of the thread unintentionally accurate, or are you aware that the 'punchline' paragraph was fabricated? (they also 'blackified' the suspects name in a nice touch of casual racism)

Interesting, I didn't even consider the race card when I read the first example. I was laughing at some punk thief getting what was coming to him.

Anyone remember a simialr thing happening in the uk a while back?

Thief with a gun holds up petrol station. Runs outside with the cash. meets the British Army Rugby team on their way to a match. points gun at them, they smile a little. So he fires a warning shot at the floor.

One army guy looks at the other. " That was a blank. Right, get him."

They were actually quite embarrassed about it afterwards, in case people tried to copy them.
