The rules themselves cannibalize heavily from BFG, Man-O-War and Aeronautica Imperialis, and other non-GW places.

Looks fun. Of course you could just use the BFG rules, since that is effectively already a naval combat rule system that pretends to be a space game.

Be nice - there's a several hundred page supplement on the other side of the link.
The biggest frustration for me is the scale is 1:1500, so even epic stuff is five times too big!

Dystopian Wars, however, is only... 25% too large?

The scale for Aquanautica Imperialis is like typical GW scale... it isn't set.

Dystopian Wars ships scale up just fine to a point. In most instances a Battleship will be about 3 inches long, while a Cruiser can be 2-2.5 inches. Escorts are about an inch.

Overall, the scale is pretty loose considering most people will be scratchbuilding fleets.

Well, it has been a little while, but I have a few updates.

Remember, you can get everything you need here: https://www.box.com/files/0/f/51577811/ ... Imperialis

Currently, all of the fleet lists were in separate PDF documents, and this caused some confusion. I still have them in separate documents for those who only want there own list, but you can find them all now in this document: https://www.box.com/s/a3zh4hcbs9qg9dg6ckag

I also spent sometime working in some freighters for scenarios. It has been a while since I tried to sculpt anything for this game, and I think it shows. ;D I really need to get with the times, use sketch-up and then have Shapeways do all the hard work for me. :D
