Hey Vaaish, in overnight from field, mate they look great, I think I will have trouble choosing an army to use in the future. The Fists have made good account of themselves since my return with a few victories. The Ravens look awesome and will have to be placed on display.

Cheers
Aaron

Cool. Good to hear the fists are making a good accounting. I'm hoping to start in on the infantry here shortly and maybe give you at least something you can play with when I send back the first trays.

Hi Vaaish,
You are a great painter/sculptor, I like especiallly your mix of cleaning and effects colors.
I find your Nekron army really amazing. I have just seen them. I'm still stunned, fantastic minis.
I'd like to see these models from live.
Great job
Cheers

Wow, I'm a bit late on responding aren't I. Thanks, I'm glad you like them, but I don't know that I would consider myself a great painter. I still have a very long ways to go. Maybe one day. :)

I do however have a bit a departure from epic. I don't typically put this in here but I'm rather ecstatic that he's finally done so here is my 40k master of the forge that has kept me busy for the last three weeks or so. This thing just has sooo much crap all over him to paint that it takes forever to get everything done. I also tried to do a bit different lighting in the photos and I think it ended up killing some of the shading on the shoulder pads and highlighting some of the metal areas that were rather rushed in the end on the harness. I hope you enjoy him.

Hey mate,

That is a fantastic looking Tech Marine, simply stunning. I hope you are happy with that mate, I think our discussions earlier this year about you raising your own bar have come to light mate. Get that guy into a painting competition and see how you go, its awesome.

Cheers
Aaron

Thanks! I am pretty happy with him although I feel I should shade in darks a bit more to up the contrast and clean up some areas before any painting competition would happen. I think more than anything I just hit detail overload when I got to the harness and it ended up hurting the finished quality a bit. Well, next up I've got two reavers for assembly. :)

EDIT: a friend pointed out that a lot of the shading had been lost on his screen and I think it was partly my fault in editing the exposure on the shots so I edited it back to fit closer to the original exposures I hope. :)
