To be honest i had wanted to do these for a while as i have always loved the pre HH story, And also waiting for some new minatures to arrive so just filling a bit of hobby time. The hope is that some time in the future a certain person will make beaky marines as i always associate these with the HH.

I will have ago at the remaing 17 demi gods and hopefully build the set, I will do rogal next as i have just finished reading the lightning Twr and found it to be full of decent fluff, btw the book goes on about gold armour on the fists legion, did the pre HH marines wear gold armour....

Then I think it will be the the lizard men demi god

Well the paint guidelines for Granny Wendys IFs has always been golden yellow for main, thats what I've always taken that to mean, no great Fist colour change conspiracy.

Hi Guys,

Managed to get a bit of time to get some of my space soldiers based, Have finished glueing a tac detachment, and wanted to see what i could do with the rocket chaps, so tried a couple of stands, I dont normally put any scenery on my bases and have only just began using the later style longer bases as the old ones look great but hide the detail as the little chaps are to bunched together.

Anyway, found a couple of small wall setions from the old gw sprues and superglued some of the rocket men on the walls,
and added some rubble, All was not well though, I have been using halfrauds paint/primer for a while and when this little lot was base coated it sort of bobbles, will let it dry and see if it can be brushe off, have stored the paint in cupboard for a while so not sure if the heat has effected the paint as it was sort of snow flackish.....

Have not had much time for painting recently and got chance to put some paint to some, have had these for a while but the green lizards had taken priority, Will do some more of these as i was only going to use them as a support group but have grown to like these these fellows and will add to the force slighty.

The sniper 'diorama' stands and the command flag are outstanding. People are really stepping up and doing some real creative stuff when basing. Good job.

Hi Folks,
Have had a chance to get some more of the armoured green skins done, Still need to do a few more as this particular chapter gets an extra ten suits of armour acording to the fluff as they are looked after by the mechanicum who takes materials from there home world.

Have made and converted a command charector stand and also finally based the men gods that i converted, they where based on a john connor hater torso then green stuffed with wings/pads/weapons etc, the fact they have larger shoulder pads and other stuff makes them look bigger but just to be on the safe side i added and extra old epic base glue to the bottom.

Everything is looking great, loving the now painted Angel too.

I think that command stand needs more assault cannon though ;p
