Bellow are the finished sculpts for my 6th fantasy army: the Dwarves! These pictures really don't do them justice, these guys are tiny, 4.5mm to the eyes, 5mm tall including the base and all. Hoping to have them up for sale around this December/January 2012 depending on the usual delays. I was thinking of elves for the next army, but I'm always open to suggestions.

Yay, i've been waiting for these -- ill have an armys worth please ;D

Elves sound good -- could they be relatively 'theme' neutral? so that they could be painted to work as either good or evil elves.

Gives me time to paint the wood elves :)

Love 'em! Any chance of a Ironclad with a pistol or musket? They'd make cracking hearthguard.

Actually, mixing and matching the Dragoons with my mounted bounty hunters would really add to the feel of an auxillia force.

*heads off to find more 6mm cavalry with guns to use*

Great sculpts, and useful for dwarves that travel in space.

If and when you do the elves, maybe some elves could be witchy/evil and genre transcendent also?

Thanks guys! i have lots of releases that piled up, just waiting to get them all out the door!

For the elves I was actually going to do 2 separate armies (good and evil variety), just with a couple shared kits. Like I was going to have one ballista with general elven crewmen so both armies could use it, and the chariot kit would be almost the same between armies, just one would be pulled by horses, the other by raptors, things like that. but other than that, they would each have a couple separate elite troop types, spearmen for the light elves, sword'n'board warriors for the dark, bows for the light, x-bows for the dark...that kind of thing.

At this scale do you think it doesn't pay to have two separate flavors of elves?

I'm not really a huge fan of the high elf aesthetic from GW though, I was going to go for a more banded type armor, and not a lot of helm plumage, similar to the lord of the rings last alliance style elves.

You could use one faction as the 'base' for most of the minis and then add distinguishing elements like more evil/jagged looking weapons and armor/helmets for the dark side.

At this scale sometimes having elements of the mini not quite in scale (over large swords, helmets) adds to the table top aesthetic. Heck I suppose that's even why 25mm crept into 28mm+ over the years (by years I mean 1970's onward).

I would definitely buy an army of each flavour, just suggested neutral that could be used as either as i didn't know you were thinking of having both types made :D Great news ;D
