Well up here in Scotland everything is still all nice and civilised just now. Knowing there's quite a few members here from the London area I was wondering is it as bad as the media coverage makes out? Are you guys alright? Has it affected you at all?

They blitzed our local shopping centre last night but the EW office remains intact. The areas around me have all been hit.

The rich areas remain untouched, the rioters appear to be cannibalising there own communities :s.

I've been indirectly affected (closing shops early etc), and heard plenty of sirens and seen 'copters. Reports just in of disturbances in my area though...

Yikes, glad you folks(and EW!) are alright. I think most folk up here can't believe how long this has lasted.

So far it seems contained to the cities, we've had police deployed here, but nothing so far has happened (as far as I'm aware), leicester and nottingham on the other hand have sustained attacks. (including firebombing a police station...)

I was walking down a badly hit area when I spotted a GW shop with its window smashed in. Nothing had been taken whatsoever. Just kidding. It barely affected me really except watching some yoofs going up and down my street acting tough (but doing zilch).
