I've got a friend who's basing in Iyanden Darksun (I think), armor plates in Mechrite Red, and washing with Devlan, and it looks great. Quick and easy.

Hah - that looks nearly identical to my army. Lots of tiny models on 2p pieces!

I kitbashed a Bio-Titan from a 40k Tyranid boxed set and I'm fairly happy with it, but I'm unsure as to which of the titans it should be. I've not given it any guns, just claws... and it's a pretty big beast. Needs a lot of putty work too.

Yep, and is no longer blue! And will probably need a repaint again....lol

However I'm now leaning to using a bigger legion beast as the raek is a little small for DC6 maybe..

Good to see that you are making progress. Round bases always look good on nids (too bad I am stuck with using the regular strips).
