Not the solution I would have chosen, but then my solution would have been far less awesome.

"Next time, park your car legally." Gold.

Can I run a tank through Congress? Then maybe the National Debt would start to disappear? Eh?

Notice: FBI and other Federal groups reading this, this is not a threat or intended plot just joke referring to our political climate.

Here's a transcript.

"In the past few days, expensive cars have been illegally parked in almost this exact same place - a Rolls Royce and a Ferrari. What should the city do about drivers who think that they are above the law? It seems that a tank is the best solution."

After crushing car: "That's what will happen if you park your car illegally!"

To owner: "Next time, park your car legally."

Who needs friends when you have a bike AND an APC driven by the city's mayor?

Seriously, I think it's to discourage those who are rich enough to treat a parking fine as a ticket to park.

What happens when people start parking tanks illegally?

"It seems that a CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT is the best solution!"

Silly. Expensive car - why not simply drag it off, sell it, and spend the money on, say, better roads?

1) Not the mayor's money!

2) The PR could well be worth more than that car.

Obviously it's not something they really did; but i like the way they're comunicating. Here in the south of France, we would really need a CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT to deal whith double parked assholes and the kind.
