I spotted this list on Dakka Dakka – the author of the post had placed an order, and received a long list of models that are on back order/out of stock. One item from the long list jumped out at me – Epic drop pods:

The rest of the list (and original post) are here.

Now, if the drop pods come back as resin, that might be a good sign for the rest of the range. If not... well, not so good.

I don't know what's the case is with G/W ... But don't hold your breath about G/W redoing Epic in Resin. Highly unlikely IMO ... However ... there are alternatives. Exodus Wars for one and you may find others mentioned here. Just surf this site ...

Best keep an eye on this. JJ said he couldn't comment at that time when I last asked.

Didn't this happen recently with someone IG Character pack? And then he re-order it and it came in the next order?

Yeah stuff goes out of stock every now and then, its distressing but generally comes to nothing.

Yeah, I guess the tone of my initial post shouldn't have been so leading - I just wanted to post up something I'd found interesting and thought might be interesting to others here. It's entirely possible that drop pods going out of stock is coincidental, rather than sinister or hopeful :)
