Elsmore,

That looks brilliant mate, As im not an epic player just paint, convert etc I still completely understand the reason you have done this, its quick, looks nice and as said easy to disassemble and probably pretty damage resistant aswell ;)

Well done very impressed ;) regards epic

Step 1 - build abstracted models to match terrain
step 2 - dip for finish.

the magnet trees are great, how does it fold up though with those hills in each corner?

It's a Citadel Realm of Battle board. 6'x4' in 6 2'x2' tiles. If you flip two hill tiles top to top with hills in opposing corners, it works fine.

Looks good, I quite like the simplicity of it all.
Glad the rivers worked out well! Challenge you to a game on it sometime, I'm not far up the road in London.

yeah, this is pretty awesome. i'd need to have unit tokens made out of blue and red acrylic, to fit the abstract theme, but yeah this is great.
ALMOST makes me contemplate buying a RoB board...

Strikingly different! I took it to be an image drawn on computer planning out what it would look like at first, like the sort of thing you see building development people make to show off what their new development project will look like to the public.

I'm more of a ultra-detailed realist terrain man myself, but I can see the advantages of your abstract approach, along with the nice soft felt and transportability.

Edited to add: where did you get the buildings from? They look good.
