You're gonna need a bigger table!

This thread gives me the chills and makes me smile all at the same time.
I'm really glad to be able to see it all in one place on parade like this. You have a wonderful collection there and I'm happy to have been part of it (with just a little more to go).

Cheers Aaron,
Steve.

Very impressive - THAT is what epic has always been about - Sod the big war engines, its the Big armies that make 6mm worth collecting and you've done the theory immensly proud with that one. Great effort to both of you!

I have always loved the big battle that Epic was before it became about competition lists. I really enjoy the new form of the game and love the rule, but a big game is what I am all about. I got the inspiration for this army after reading Storm of Iron. I made my own Iron Warriors list up years ago, back in the days of the SG forum. My army is based on the old Space Marine Battalion and Regimental model for Space Mrines.

Each Battalion has three companies, a transport pool and three supporting detachments. The army is some 24 companies in size with eight battalions. The battalions are Cosen, 2 x Mechanised Assault, 1 x Dreadclaw Assault, 2 x Siege and 2 x Support. I have had a ball putting it all together, and some nail bighting moments on ebay picking up pieces. Still to go is the unpainted gear on there, a couple of companies, Obliterators and Dreadnaughts. I have an idea for a Stormbird in my head, its now about making it reality.

Cheers
Aaron

P.S Ulric, looking forward to seeing what you come up wtih.
