Wow, super buildings. Some roofs perhaps could have a slight flat to accomodate infantry stands. Really great scenery so far.

Hi Guys,

Managed to get a bit more terrain done, Its the front gates to the city im still working on I was planning on using the angel statue that i used in an earlier post but decided against it, So with some plastic card, some tower sections that i cast of the church and some of our local werewolfs wall sections, some exodus wars gun turrets! I came up with this.....







I Did not want terrain peices that would be stuck down and thought about how i could make the actual gate itself without bonding anything, The base of the tower is made of two werewolfs wall sections back to back, and just by luck this creates a gap in the middle, long and flate, so some more plasti card cut up to make the gate and then it slides in, I even made some anchor points to hold it in place and a stop bar to stop it going back to far!

The good thing about this is you close/open the gate freely and also the towers can be moved apart as far as you like within reason to alter the terrain/gate width to suit your fancy heres a pic anyway its fairly self explanitary hopefully



Just need to get them painted now and get some more buildings done

Hi Guys and cheers for the comments much appreciated, Well got the wall sections painted and laid some stuff out to get an idea to see how it looks, Need to cast many more buildings but just dont have the time at the moment, The models are just laid out on the back of a picture frame at the moment as it was the only large flat item i had to hand

Need to decide what im doing really about basing this lot i.e what size boards to use, what material etc, what i have decided on though will be the colour its defo going to be grey with maybe some sand mixed in to add a contrast.

Sorry for the pants pictures but hopefully when the things are based and everythings painted it will all start to look a bit sharper.

Anyway here are some pics any comments for base boards would be most helpfull guys, maybe mdf, plastic pros/cons etc

Yes, have to say its a bit like buses, there are non and then all of a sudden they all come along at once there are some really nice designs that are been made at the moment by some companys i.e gateshead, craftworld etc and it all looks very good quality, Im going to get some myself to mix in with this lot.
