it's been a long time...

This wednesday I finally managed to play an epic40K intro game to freshen up my rules knowledge.

2x 1500 points marines vs. 3000 points orks. Ended in a draw and was great fun. It gave me inspiration to dig up my own figures and finish an army finally. I have all my stuff boxed up as I was moving back to Hungary.

It seems the Salamanders army list link I had does not work any more, so I have to find it again somehow.

Expect more painting/modelling updates in the following weeks...

I had a little time yesterday. I dug up my orks and was fiddling with a speed freaks armylist as tomorrow I have a game of 2500 points.

Saw some good stompa conversions here on the forum, so I also did 2 VERY simple ones. And some warbike conversions.

Mekboy Bad Ork Bikeboy, one flak gun.

Two more from yesternight.

I need more AA guns, so here is another one:
Another battlewagon + resin parts I got in a trade + plastic box part + toothpick shavings

And a looted imperial toy tank + ork parts + dead credit card cuts + plastic tube from earcleaner. Could use it as an objective or as a gunfortress.

An ork tank with ERA very cool ;) There is something about orks glued in turrets that always look great when painted

I have no idea about the type of the tank. I just bought it together with 6 plastic guns on the flea-market for 1,50 Eur. so less than 50 cents each.

The gunz will be used for the game Cash-n-Gunz and the tank has been officially looted by my big mek. :)

That's some crazy-ass close up action. Very neat.

I'd guess it's almost certainly not. Based on the Mek in the turret, it appears to be 30-40mm long at a minimum. GHQ tanks are generally under 15mm in length. The material looks like a prepainted plastic. It's probably a 1/72 scale toy.

not a model, but the battlefield from yesterday...

the fightabombas managed to shoot down the thunderhawk in the first move, hindering the marines transport capability. But his other units made a mess of me...
