Do all armies commit to this rule about only 1/3rd-33% of the army shall have Titans and aircraft, or is it only the Orks are immune to this ruling. I was wondering due to being stomped by an air cav ork list with lots of aircraft well over the limit of 33%. Just curious as how this works. In the Main color rule book there is no mention of the rule but i know that in subsequent lists that are either fan based from us, or re-released gw lists it is included, but from my knowledge gathering that nothing is mentioned for the Orks.

there are a few armies that are not restricted in this way. obviously the titan lists are much more free in their titan-selection
the skitarii list allows 50%
and for some stupid bogus hateful reason, marine lists can be all airborne if they so desire.

well.. they are marines by god... they have the emperor's permission granted to them through the lords of terra via any other order of terra and on to the adeptus astartes ministorum and so on and so on... they got their lander licenses and their thunderhawk licenses.. makes me want to do that to the fellow i played.. but i have to give him some credit.. he said he had not played in 9 months and kept telling me he knew the rules.. ork storm boyz can apperently jump 35 cm instead of thirty,, and you can apperently engage multiple formations with one formation of your own. somebody tell me that this is a wrong engagement. He tried to assault my aa guns and then said he could assault my sentinels that were about 10 cm away from them. oh well.. thats why i have this list to confirm or deny things.

well,, we were playing a doubles game of 1500 each.. in regards to my opponents list on my right flank... at 1500 points.. two landa's with troops in side, and three fighta bomba squadrons... it made things kinda difficult and felt really cheesy. but i could just be whining to much. of course the other player had two mobs and a great gargant.. so at 3k, it was well,, over half the alloted amount of points.. but hey... no biggie right?? one fellow we played with(had the gargant) had only played one game before, but i guess i'm having a grrrrr fit in vain.

Apocrypha of Skaros can't. Thunderhawks are Aircraft and fall into the 25% section, like God clearly intended.

...Now I know i've seen that list before! ... wasn't a rule introduced because of it, something along the lines of aircraft cannot capture objectives?
