Thanks guys, I will have a crack at some arcos once my current backlog is cleared, which as you'll see won't be for a while, more ideas are of course welcome!

Some of you may have noticed my wanted thread over in wargames trades, I've been after suitable heavy bolters/flamers & multi meltas for my Sisters of Battle project, I had some already and have some WIP shots of what I have in mind.

My first Retributor:

I may add some green stuf to jazz it up a bit but this pretty much sums up the look I'm going for.

I also decided that my Immolator conversions were a bit lacking so after finding the bits I've put together these:

Image

On the left we have my first GS attempt at making something ambiguous to represent melta/flamers the two on the right have had actual Multi-Meltas & Heavy Flamers added from speeder spares, they still need to be painted but thought I'd ask if anybody has suggestions on improving them...

I haven't been idle since my last update however whilst I've been waiting I got to work on my SoB motor pool.

I still have to work on the Exorcist turrets to do but I can crack on now everythings here.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys, had a quick bash at getting my sisters painted, not ready for photos yet though.

Attempting an urban scheme for my tanks:

A good urban scheme, although you may want to apply a wash over it to make the detail pop. Also, the white bits look like paint chips, so a black wash would grey them up a bit and tone down the white.

Great start

Thanks captPiett

I have devlan mud and gryphonne sepia atm would either of those be suitable? Or I could just water down some black.

I won't claim any credit for the scheme, took it from this article at Grandma Wendy's:
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/conte ... Id=2400009

It should be on the first page of colour schemes.

watered down black would work best with those colors, IMO. I find badab black wash (GW) to be almost as magical as devlan mud, so I would recommend getting a pot of that. Sometimes it gets a little dark, so you can follow up with a drybrush over it.

Thanks guys much appreciated!

Haven't got a pot of badab black, may get some today if the traffic on my way to work is quiet. That hasn't stopped me making progress though:

Moar Tanks!

You may also spot my test stand for infantry. Opinions?

I also got to work on another Warlord conversion:

I thought mounting a single ICBM might be better in the middle.

epic I'll get to work on those cultists tomorrow, shouldn't take much more to finish.

Hope you folks like them.

I like the city camouflage. I am pondering a similar pattern for some of my Guards/Minervan, but I have not tried it out yet. The infantry stand is too small to be given a fair judgment, but the colours look right and the base look fantastic.

Cheers,
Fredmans
